Honeywell of Louisville, Ky., has unveiled its NetAXS access control panel, a four-door programmable panel offering a hybrid Web- or PC-based system. Using a built-in Web server, the system can be accessed anywhere the Internet is available.
Since there is no PC software to install, customers who choose the Web interface do not have to worry about operating system compatibility, virus attacks or other computer issues.
The Web browser allows a user to manage the entire system, run reports, monitor events and alarms, and add and remove users.
Pre-wired configurations allow NetAXS to be programmed offsite and plugged into an existing N-1000 system.
