Netwatch Integrates Proactive Video Monitoring With Hanwha’s Wisenet WAVE VMS, Select Cameras

When combined, Hanwha’s video surveillance solutions and Netwatch Proactive Video Monitoring allow end-users to identify intrusion incidents and provide live-audio intervention.

LAKE FOREST, Calif. — Netwatch North America, a provider of proactive video monitoring solutions, announces a strategic technology integration with Hanwha Techwin America.

Netwatch Proactive Video Monitoring is now fully integrated with Hanwha’s Wisenet WAVE VMS version 4.2. It is also compatible with Hanwha’s Wisenet X and P Series line of cameras, enabling customers to add proactive video monitoring to their suite of security solutions.

When combined, Hanwha’s video surveillance solutions and Netwatch Proactive Video Monitoring are said to allow end-users to identify intrusion incidents and provide live-audio intervention to prevent crime in real-time. Additionally, joint customers can detect loitering and issue live-audio warnings to de-escalate incidents before loss or damage can occur.

“The integration between Netwatch and Hanwha Techwin empowers businesses to ignite a stronger incident and threat response and take faster, more efficient action,” says Justin Wilmas, president, Netwatch North America. “Netwatch proactive video monitoring is a major value-add to the market, and this recent integration with Hanwha is the latest example of our company’s continuous pursuit of security-focused innovation for our customers.”

Netwatch says traditional video monitoring services have long been the standard for after-hours security in most facilities and campuses. However, this service limits the ability to prevent crime. Proactive video monitoring empowers operators to act before an incident occurs.

The Netwatch Platform connects to a business’ video surveillance system and can detect unauthorized activity through computer vision software analytics. Once an alert is received, Netwatch’s intervention specialists evaluate the situation over a live video feed, determining the threat level.

The operator speaks directly to the intruder with a live audio warning advising they leave the premises immediately. In 98% of cases, the live warning stops the criminal from proceeding, according to the company.
