Network Communication Controls Eliminate Layer of PCs

Published: May 31, 2006

Tyco Fire & Security’s Kantech of Orlando, Fla., releases the KT-NCC network communication controller as a means of communication management between controller and the Kantech EntraPass access control software.

According to Kantech, this eliminates a layer of PCs as well as the added maintenance costs and stability issues associated with similar products.

The KT-NCC extends global anti-passback, secondary access levels and system-wide alarms while enhancing backup protection of critical data, thus making access control more reliable, manageable and cost effective. By removing the traditional IT and PC maintenance issue, end users can save money.
