The devastation wreaked by Katrina hasn’t stopped a new
security product seller from opening up shop in Covington,
La., near New Orleans. C.I.A. Imports will specialize in
the sale of security cameras and other surveillance
equipment to resellers and contractors.
According to C.I.A. Imports, the recent Gulf Coast disaster caused significant disruptions in communications and shipping, but C.I.A. Imports overcame all obstacles.
The result of recovery efforts was the assembly of a large inventory of cameras, lenses, monitors, recording equipment and accessories from vendors across the globe at the Covington warehouse. C.I.A. Imports says the company is in full operation at this time.
