New Jersey Installers, Locksmiths Receive Digital Identification
NEWARK, N.J.
As part of new state licensing regulations, New Jersey fire and burglar alarm installers as well as locksmiths are among the first to receive digital photo identification licenses from the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. Customers can now verify installers’ identities before allowing them into their homes.
“Our association has strongly supported licensing of alarm professionals, and we applaud the digital licenses being issued by the Division of Consumer Affairs,” Chris Mosley, president of the New Jersey Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NJBFAA), said in a statement.
