The New Jersey Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NJBFAA) has come out ahead in a race among chartered state associations (CSAs) to add new members. The NJBFAA has been declared the winner of the 2004 “Most New Members” contest held by the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA).
The NJBFAA beat out the neighboring New York Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NYBFAA) by adding the most members among CSAs from Jan. 1 to April 30. New Jersey added 57 new members compared to the NYBFAA’s 37. Overall, the NBFAA says it added 236 new members during the contest.
“The Board has been hard at work getting the message out across the entire state,” says NJBFAA President Chris Mosley. The NJBFAA will have $500 added to its coffers by winning the contest.
