New Offerings, Schedule Announced for November’s ISC East

NORWALK, Conn.
Published: March 10, 2004

Just as preparations are being made for ISC West starting
March 31 in Las Vegas, plans are afoot for expanded
offerings as ISC East makes its return to New York in
November. Reed Exhibitions – which is organizing the show
for show sponsor Security Industry Association (SIA) and
show endorser National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association
(NBFAA) – has announced enhancements to programming for the
event, including switching the show to a two-day schedule
with expanded hours.

Scheduled for Nov. 3-4, ISC Expo officials say the plan is
to put the same amount of hours into a two-day schedule to
encourage increased contractor attendance without
compromising their time away from their businesses.

“Returning the ISC East event to New York has meant
leveraging a 30-year market legacy and dominance in the
Northeast corridor,” says Dean Russo, Reed’s vice
president, ISC Expo events. “With the highest concentration
of dealers – the core ISC East attendee – combined with the
prospect of attracting a new end-user audience, we have
further enhanced the event in response to an evolving
marketplace.”

To the end of more end-user participation, there will be a
multimedia marketing campaign surrounding ISC East.

Also new to ISC East this year will be an exclusive
training program from manufacturers. Dealers will be able
to attend training conducted directly from the
manufacturers lasting between an hour to an entire day.
Also on the educational end will be a new format for the
conference program that will include more interaction
through panel discussions and roundtables.
