NASHVILLE, Tenn. — ADS Security has introduced a new solution that merges its primary home security offering with home automation services, allowing consumers to remotely manage their systems from anywhere using a mobile device.
While it has always been ADS’ top priority to keep customers safe, the firm also strives to offer other advanced services that will benefit clients in the down the road. Thus, providing a home automation solution to consumers was a natural fit for the company, Tom Szell, ADS vice president of sales and marketing tells SSI.
“Many of our customers want the convenience of being able to lock or unlock doors or control lights remotely,” he explains. “They also want the savings they receive from automating their thermostats.”
ADS Home Control enables homeowners to arm or disarm their security systems and turn off the television with the ADS Aniware mobile app. The app will send alerts via E-mail or text message to notify users of events at home, such as family member arrivals, alarm activation or temperature change. When something triggers the ADS Home Control alarm, a signal will be sent securely to ADS’ CSAA Five Diamond certified monitoring center.
The company will offer the new service to customers across its demographic board.
“Customers will be able to customize our home automation services to fit their needs,” he says. “We’ve made our offering affordable and available so all of our customers can take advantage of this exciting, advanced service.”
