Wireless Company Makes Move Into Video Surveilance
A company specializing in wireless communications is branching out into video surveillance installation and integration.
Yankee Microwave, a 26-year-old company based in Harrison, Maine, is offering CCTV systems for residential, commercial and gov-ernment customers.
While Yankee isn’t manufacturing the equipment, Lee Cousins, RVS manager for the company, says Yankee’s staff has technical know-how other installers and integrators may lack. “A lot of security companies are turnkey types. We have engineers on staff that others don’t,” Cousins says. “We can figure out what they really need.”
