NFL Hall-of-Famer Cris Carter: Tyco Failed to Pay Up
The former Minnesota Viking has filed a lawsuit against Tyco Int’l, claiming that the firm still owes $3 million for acquiring the security division of Carter Brothers LLC in 2012.
ATLANTA – Former Minnesota Vikings receiver Cris Carter is suing Tyco Int’l for failing to fulfill parts of a 2012 agreement to buy a division of the Carter Brothers security business.

In October 2012, Tyco Integrated Security agreed to purchase the equity interest in Carter Brothers LLC, which consisted of a fire and life safety and a security division, for $35.8 million, Star Tribune reports.
In the lawsuit, Carter and his brother John claim that while they fulfilled the conditions of the sale, Tyco has refused to pay the $3 million that is still owed.
