NFPA Honors Volunteer with Paul C. Lamb Award

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has presented John J. O’Sullivan with the esteemed 2010 Paul C. Lamb Award during the organizations 2010 conference. The award, the highest given by the association, honors volunteer service.

O’Sullivan, a principle technical fire consultant for Bureau Veritas UK & Ireland, has a 24-year history of service and dedication to the NFPA, having served as a volunteer on several committees, including the Standards Council, the Aircraft Fuel Servicing Technical Committee and the Board of Directors.

The award is given in honor of Paul C. Lamb and is a tribute to his legacy of service to the NFPA and to the cause of fire safety. It awarded to those who have provided service to the NFPA that characterizes the height of volunteer spirit and deed.
