NHL Teams Name Vector Official Security Partner
As the official security partner of the Carolina Hurricanes and Columbus Blue Jackets, Vector Security will receive a number of promotional benefits.
PITTSBURGH — Vector Security announces it has signed an agreement to become the “Official Security Partner” of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Carolina Hurricanes and Columbus Blue Jackets.
The multi-year agreements give Vector in-arena sponsorship exclusivity in the home and business security categories.
At the Hurricanes’ home arena, Vector will receive dasher board signage and title sponsorship of the Hurricanes Siren Sounder feature. The agreement also includes digital and social promotion, radio advertising and other benefits, according to the company.
“Raleigh has been synonymous with growth and we are excited to be in the middle of such a dynamic market,” says Art Miller, vice president of marketing for Vector Security. “This partnership with the Hurricanes is a perfect fit for us, a match-up based upon two teams focused on the fan/customer experience and driving a winning culture. In Columbus, Vector branding opportunities include LED and digital displays within the arena, dasher board signage, radio advertising and other promotional benefits.
“Columbus represents one of our largest markets in Ohio and is a strong area of growth for us,” says Miller. “We are thrilled to sponsor the Columbus Blue Jackets, a team synonymous with hard work, patriotism and pride. We collectively share these attributes and our local team looks forward to promoting both brands side by side.”
The NHL’s 2018-19 regular season begins Oct. 3.
