The CMOOR Group, providers of customized, turnkey eLearning solutions for the security, construction, manufacturing and low-voltage electronics industries, has developed preparatory training that supports NICET VSS Level 1 Certification.
CMOOR worked with industry expert Charlie Pierce to develop the 14-course program. Because it is the only NICET VSS training program in the industry, the company also relied on the expertise of an independent panel to ensure it met all NICET standards and criteria.
Led by Pierce, the program guides students through highly interactive modules that include streaming videos of Charlie’s instruction, animation, simulations and interactivity. All combine to form a rounded overview of CCTV as a security tool while incorporating deterrence methods into video security applications. Also among the topics covered in the program are video design theory, cameras, transmission, digital management systems and the legal aspects of CCTV systems.
CMOOR is also developing NICET Fire Level 1 and Level 2 preparatory training programs, which will be available online in the near future. The company is preparing to launch an IP Networking and Project Management series of courses online as soon as May 2007.
