CARLSBAD, Calif. — Nortek Security & Control (NSC), a global manufacturer of wireless security, home automation, access control and health and wellness technologies, has announced that executive vice president of products and marketing Joe Roberts has left the company.
Bill Hensley, senior director of marketing and corporate communications, Nortek Security & Control, says the company will initiate a search for a replacement.
Roberts served as the president of Core Brands before it was acquired by NSC in 2017.
“The entire Nortek team is grateful to Joe for his vision and leadership over the last six years, first as President of Core Brands and then, most recently, as executive vice president of product and marketing at Nortek,” says Hensley. “He leaves us with the strong product team he built that is now delivering the new security, access, intelligent home and commercial solutions our customers need to meet the requirements of their clients across residential and commercial channels.”
Roberts’ departure follows the recent announcement that president Mike O’Neal has left the company.
Recent NSC product launches include the ELAN Intelligent Touch Panels personalized with face recognition, and the 2GIG eSeries security ecosystem with encrypted sensors.
