CARLSBAD, Calif. — Nortek Security & Control (NSC) has appointed industry veteran Quinto Petrucci to lead the company’s newly combined security and commercial access control product management teams.
Petrucci has assumed the title of vice president of product management, reporting directly to NSC Executive Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Joe Roberts.
“Quinto brings a strong customer focus and industry knowledge that is a great fit for NSC,” Roberts states in an announcement. “He is already accelerating the development of innovative solutions that meet the real world needs of our customers across our portfolio of products.”
Petrucci arrives at NSC with more than 20 years of senior product leadership experience in security and home automation. Most recently, he served as vice president, product-connected home, at Universal Electronics, a provider of smart home technology and manufacturer of remote controls, IoT devices, as well as software and Cloud services for device discovery, fingerprinting and interoperability.
Formerly, Petrucci served as vice president of product management at Ecolink; director of product management at ecobee, and senior product manager at Tyco Safety Products. He began his career as a hardware engineer at Digital Security Controls (DSC).
