The parent company of the North American distributor of
Samsung CCTV products plans to change its name. At the same
time, it is starting a new division dedicated to
integrating systems for large companies and governmental
agencies. Thinking Tools Inc., which HREF=t_ci_newsView.cfm?nid=1501&arch=0>purchased GVI
Security Inc. in February is taking the GVI name
throughout the company and will rename itself GVI Security
Solutions Inc., pending shareholder approval.
In addition, it is forming the GVI Enterprise Solutions
Group as a new division of GVI Security. The new group will
target Fortune 1000 companies and government clients
as customers.
“We formed the GVI Enterprise Solution Group to meet the
growing needs for integrated electronic security systems
from large companies and government agencies,” says
Thinking Tools Chairman Howard Safir, formerly the police
commissioner for New York City.
GVI is the exclusive distributor of Samsung Electronics
video security products in both North and South America and
the Caribbean, and distributes video surveillance and other
security products to wholesale distributors and
consumers.
