CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) recently announced a new members-only report that offers economic insights for integrators, developed in partnership with economist Dr. Chris Kuehl and his firm, Armada Corporate Intelligence.
This new resource replaces NSCA’s long-running Electronic Systems Outlook report and is designed to give integrators clearer visibility into construction activity, sector trends and the macroeconomic forces shaping their businesses, according to the association announcement.
Available exclusively to NSCA members, the report brings together economic, construction and sector-level intelligence in one resource, providing context to help integrators anticipate and plan for the future.
What Does the New NSCA Economic Outlook Report Cover?
The new Economic Outlook report covers:
- A macroeconomic outlook: GDP expectations, disposable income trends, inflation, and interest rate/10-Year U.S. Treasury outlooks, with commentary on how these factors influence technology and construction spending
- Construction forecasts: national and regional forecasts for nonresidential and residential construction, including trajectory, timing, and intensity of growth or softening
- Vertical market insights: sector-specific outlooks for key markets that drive demand for technology, including healthcare, education, manufacturing, and data centers
- Risks, constraints and catalysts: analysis of labor dynamics, tariffs and trade policy, regulation, and supply chain conditions that impact project timelines, pricing, and scopes
- Three-year outlook indicators: data that shows whether specific verticals are expected to grow, stall, or contract so integrators can prioritize markets and territories
“By teaming with Dr. Kuehl and Armada Corporate Intelligence to deliver an outlook tailored to our industry, we’re giving integrators a better line of sight into demand drivers, risks, and opportunities so they can plan with more confidence,” says NSCA Executive Director Tom LeBlanc. “This new report translates macroeconomic data into practical intelligence that decision-makers in this industry can use.”
