The Ohio Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (OBFAA), also known as the Ohio Electronic Life Safety and Security Association, announces the “Professional Life Safety and Security Convention and Exhibition between March 8 and 9. All security dealers are invited to attend the event, in addition to OBFAA member companies.
Featured events include an all-day class called “Fire Test Preparation Class” by Zenith Design Group. Those who attend will receive instruction that will prepare them for the Ohio Fire Alarm Technician License Examination. The state fire marshal will be at the event to administer the test immediately after the class adjourns.
American Response Center (ARC) of Euclid, Ohio, also will hold an open meeting for security dealers concerning the new Bold Manitou Automation software that ARC will soon adopt. Also, in conjunction with voip.com, ARC will demonstrate the new two-way features and the installation procedures for the network adapter for voice over Internet protocol (VoIP).
Included among the list of exhibitors are NAPCO Security, HID Corp. and Honeywell Security.
