OnQ Technologies Inc., a home networking manufacturer, and Ademco Group, part of Honeywell’s Home and Building Control Business, announce a new structured alliance, which will provide an Ademco branded structure wiring solution to use the patented OnQ Service Center. The alliance will package the security-related products offered by Ademco with the low voltage product from OnQ Technologies, providing a variety of UL Listed solutions.
Both OnQ and Ademco will retain brand identity while mutually leveraging the products, services, support and patents held by each other.
The alliance also includes a joint marketing effort from both companies. Product rollout took place in conjunction with the March 7-10 Electronic House Expo in Orlando, Fla. The rollout includes product training opportunities, new alliance-specific sales collateral and more.
“This alliance is designed to access new markets quickly and shorten the product delivery curve, while providing the ability to leverage the recognition associated with OnQ brand combined with the Ademco brand,” says Charles Tartaglione, vice president of new business development for OnQ.
