The growth of OnQ Technologies Inc. has been recognized by
a business publication that has named the home networking
and structured wiring company to its “Top 50 Fastest
Growing Companies” in Central Pennsylvania list.
The Central Penn Business Journal ranks companies
based on a percentage of revenue growth from 2000-2002.
Companies needed to show revenue of at least $500,000 in
each of the fiscal years ending 2000, 2001, 2002 and show
revenue growth in 2002. OnQ was ranked 32nd among the 50
companies on the list.
“We are proud of our consistent growth, helped by today’s
exploding home technology market, and are pleased to have
the opportunity to bring key technology jobs to the area,”
Doug Fikse, president of OnQ, said in a statement.
OnQ began in 1999 as a spin-off from AMP/Tyco and has grown
from a small market player to a company that, according to
OnQ, now account for 40 percent of structured-wiring
installations in single and multi-family homes. The OnQ
Home Network System is sold and installed through a
nationwide network of OnQ professional installers and
distributors.
