—OnQ Technologies Inc., a home networking industry specialist, announces a joint marketing and distribution alliance with Honeywell, a provider of home control solutions. The alliance adds an integrated home network solution to Honeywell’s broad connected-home offering for consumers and builders.

Under the alliance, Honeywell will market a Honeywell/OnQ co-branded system enclosure for the structured network system through the OnQ installation network. In addition to the Honeywell brand, the system enclosure will carry the “OnQ Inside” logo. With the OnQ Inside program, OnQ system modules, which will continue to be sold through the nationwide network of OnQ distributors, can be installed inside the Honeywell-branded system enclosure. In addition, Honeywell will integrate support of the OnQ Advanced Lighting Control (ALC) system into its Home Controller(tm) Gateway.
