The Facility Commander Wnx platform manufactured by GE Security of Bradenton, Fla., is an open standards platform on which mission-critical physical security applications can operate in unison. Examples include access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, intrusion detection and photo ID. The result is a single command and control system that can protect property and people.
According to GE, system administration, monitoring and video surveillance can all be conducted from any workstation connected to the network. Management takes place using a single application that provides immediate access of information contained within the system. This saves time and simplifies the process.
