The SL-350QFR by Optex of Chino, Calif., is a 350-foot battery-powered photoelectric detector that requires no trenching or wiring, according to the company.
The product features a Sniper Viewfinder telescope lens that allows a high level of visibility and magnification at the 350-foot maximum installation distance, which increases the probability of optimal alignment. The optional BCU-4 automatic beam alignment tool aligns the beams at maximum installation distance and automatically aligns the beams, which eliminates false alarm caused by misalignment.
The SL-350QFR is available in a wireless-ready version that works with most manufacturers’ wireless systems and an iSeries SL-350QFRi version that includes an Inovonics wireless EN1941 transmitter pre-installed. Both versions come with four batteries per set, with the option of expanding to eight for even greater battery life.
