Optex Inc. has established a spin-off company this year
that focuses on the automatic door industry – specifically,
door sensors. The new company, named Optex Technologies
Inc., is headed up by CEO Robert Blair, Vice President Nori
Ueda and Director of Sales Jacques Vaarre, all of who came
from parent company Optex.
Blair was previously president and CEO of North American
operations at Optex. Jim Quick took over for Blair in a
recent restructuring of
the sensor and CCTV manufacturer.
Optex Technologies says it is keeping up with its parent
company’s product standards to produce quality and
innovative devices, and plans to strengthen its core
business by tailoring its products to the North American
market. Optex Technologies says it will provide a full-
service technical department and a full-service training
facility.
