Infrared security manufacturer Optex America has announced
a restructuring that includes the promotion of a new
president/CEO. Jim Quick, previously Optex America’s vice
president of sales and marketing, is the new president and
CEO of North American operations for the Japanese company,
based in Torrance, Calif.
“Optex has restructured to allow our security division a
strong opportunity to concentrate our business strategies
to service our customer base while growing our company,”
Quick said in a statement.
In other restructuring moves, Gordon Lang is Optex’s new
vice president of sales and marketing and ADI’s former
branch manager in Mexico, Rene Cuenca, has joined Optex as
its regional sales manager in Mexico.
