Duxbury is being held at Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach on charges of first-degree murder, sexual battery and burglary.

Among the evidence against Duxbury are Samsudean’s ripped blouse, a thumbprint on the top of her apartment’s toilet lid and surveillance video.

“As a security guard, he used his access to prey on someone who was very vulnerable,” Orlando police Chief John Mina said on Friday.

There was no indication that Samsudean and Duxbury knew each other, Orlando police Sgt. Dan Brady said.
