OzVision Gets New Leader, Headquarters
BOSTON
Video compression technology supplier OzVision has a new address and a new leader. Ed Mallen, who helped develop TextBridge while he was with Xerox, is the new president and CEO of OzVision, which has opened a larger corporate headquarters in Woburn, Mass.
Mallen, a 25-year computer industry veteran, was previously president and CEO of inventory system company Profile Systems. As vice president of Xerox Imaging Systems, he led the marketing and development of optical character reader (OCR) product TextBridge. He was also once the executive vice president for page processing software-maker Xionics and ran Internet messaging company NetCentric.
