Paladin Security Acquires Action BMS to Expand Canadian Footprint
Paladin, a provider of security systems and guarding services, expands its networking and integration portfolio with the purchase.
BURNABY, British Columbia, Canada – Paladin Security, a provider of security systems and guarding services, based here, has acquired Action BMS for undisclosed terms.
Based in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, Action BMS designs and deploys network infrastructure and electronic security solutions, including integrated security systems, managed access control, and remote video verification and monitoring.
“Anyone who knows anything about our industry would realize how big a deal this is just given the revenues of the company,” said Paladin Security President Ted Reid via Business Vancouver, adding Action BMS of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, has annual revenue of about $40 million.
“We’re building a truly national security company headquartered out of Vancouver,” Reid continued.
Action BMS’s 200 employees will be added to Paladin’s workforce of about 8,000, according to Business Vancouver.
Both Paladin and its new subsidiary have offices throughout B.C. and the rest of Canada.
“This deal is going to super-charge our growth across the country,” Reid said. “We’ll have experts in each vertical market out there and it will just help us to grow quicker.”
Willy Disler, the founder and CEO of the Action BMS, is retiring from the company he founded as part of the deal.
“The Paladin Security team was the best fit for our group on a cultural level such that I am convinced this is the best way forward for both our employees and clients,” Disler said via a press release.
