Panasonic Security Systems has changed its name to Panasonic System Solutions Co. in an effort to reflect the company’s focus on a broader range of customer-driven end-to-end technology solutions.
The company’s new emphasis for its divisions is being refocused on providing a broader solution, including the ability to offer more Panasonic and integrated third-party products, and to provide these integrated solutions on a global level, Panasonic President J.M. Allain tells SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION.
The company’s new emphasis on a variety of solutions will incorporate various product categories such as video surveillance, point of sale systems and digital signage.
“This new direction reflects users’ growing demand for higher integration and enterprise level systems functionality and interoperability,” says Allain. “Panasonic System Solutions Co. will continue to support its video surveillance and security customers and reseller partners as always, but now provide them with greater accessibility and capabilities to provide system solutions that encompass other product categories applicable to their specific needs.”
