Panasonic Security Systems announces the enrollment of AMAG Technology in the Panasonic Solution Developer Network (PSDN) program.

The alliance joins the two suppliers of advanced networking products and technologies and offers a solution for the integration of video surveillance and access control systems.

The PSDN program is designed to offer AMAG and other PSDN participants the development tools, technical information and protocols to encourage and accelerate the development of integrated and interoperable system solutions for a variety of applications, according to Michael Maddox, system sales engineer and PSDN program manager for Panasonic.

AMAG’s Symmetry Video smart software is based on open platform technology and allows the integration of Panasonic’s i-Pro cameras, as well as building and intrusion systems, with AMAG’s access control system.

“The trend toward integrated systems operating on a networked platform requires the cooperation of companies with differing core expertise to work more closely together, in order to provide users with more efficient security solutions,” says Maddox. “We are pleased to have AMAG join our PSDN program and believe their Symmetry Video solution offers a comprehensive feature set to accompany our i-Pro IP cameras.”
