Panasonic Expands Lineup After Integrating Business Units
Panasonic System Networks Company of America is one of several companies that arrived at ISC West this year with products that reflect the incorporation of business units that once operated independently.
Panasonic brought several offerings to the show including its IP PBX communication system, color touchscreen IP phone, HD visual communications system and point-of-sale (POS) workstation, as well as their latest video surveillance offerings.
“Panasonic has the unique capability to deliver a broad spectrum of system solutions for the professional security market,” said Bill Taylor, president of Panasonic System Networks. “Our expertise in these closely related product categories allows us to combine advanced monitoring and detecting via video surveillance with network-based telecommunications, video conferencing and POS solutions to improve core operations.”
Panasonic’s KX-TDE600 IP-PBX Communications Platform supports a range of analog, digital and IP telephony devices, and is scalable from 24 to 1,100 employees. The KX-NT400 IP Network Telephone has a 5.7-inch color touchscreen and provides access to Panasonic network cameras and business applications via intranet connection.
Panasonic’s POS Workstation with Virtual Site Manager software allows users to view images from video surveillance cameras directly on the workstation’s screen, providing an integrated solution for drive-through operations and general area surveillance.
Building on its analog, IP and hybrid video surveillance solutions, Panasonic unveiled new megapixel cameras, including the i-Pro WV-SP300 megapixel cameras (fixed and mini-dome) and the i-Pro WV-SF300 megapixel network dome camera. All are H.264 enabled.
