The new passive CCTV hub by MuxLab Inc. of Quebec, Canada, centralizes the management of video, remote power and p/t/z control over Category-5 twisted-pair cable in medium and large CCTV installations. The product supports up to 16 cameras and allows each camera connection to support any combination of video, remote power and control over a single Cat-5 cable.
The rack-mountable unit features two models: Model 500130, which features BNC connectors for video for installation near DVR equipment, and Model 500131, which features twisted-pair output for video to allow the hub to be installed in a telecom room away from the DVR.
