Pasternack Break-Over RF Torque Wrenches

Published: January 16, 2014

Pasternack Enterprises of Irvine, Calif., releases the PE5019-XX Series of preset break-over RF torque wrenches used to precisely tighten connections between components and systems, according to the company.

The wrenches allow accurate mating force when assembling and disassembling a variety of RF coaxial connectors. The products will “break” at the pivot point once the torque value force is achieved, preventing the user from over tightening the coupling nut on the connector, according to the company.

A broad range of break-over torque wrench sizes are available, including 1.0mm, 2.4mm, 2.92mm, 3.5mm, 7mm, SC, SMA, SMC, SSMA, SSMC, Type N and TNC connector designs.
