Pelco CEO Meets With Schwarzenegger on Economic Development
FRESNO, Calif.
The leader of Pelco has met with the “Terminator” to try to bring economic development to Central California. Pelco CEO David McDonald was part of a meeting with California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger concerning business in the state’s Central Valley that includes Pelco’s Clovis, Calif., headquarters.
The Fresno Bee reports McDonald joined Fresno Mayor Alan Autry and retired business executive Peter Weber for the meeting with Schwarzenegger.
Autry told the Bee that Schwarzenegger expressed his commitment to the Central Valley’s economic development but few other details of the meeting were provided. However, Autry said he expected an announcement soon about a proposed interagency task force on economic development in the seven-county region surrounding Fresno and Clovis.
