Pelco needs a little more room at its Clovis, Calif., headquarters. The video security equipment manufacturer will be expanding its base of operations with the construction of a 144,000-square-foot building on its complex that will result in the addition of 500 jobs.
Construction of the building is expected to be completed by early 2005 and will leave Pelco with 550,000 square-feet of space on its 40-acre campus.
“We are obviously pleased at our continuing growth and success which I feel we owe to our truly exceptional employees,” says Pelco CEO David McDonald. Part of the additions to Pelco’s facility will be a new day-care center for employees.
Pelco bases all of its operations in Clovis and is the largest manufacturing employer in California’s central valley.
