SAN DIEGO – Pelco shined the spotlight on to its new digital video recording products at the ASIS Int’l expo. Representatives from the Clovis, Calif.-based video security systems specialist said the DVR5100 outpaces previous limitations on recording performance by delivering the ability to capture 4CIF resolution video at 30 images per second on each input.
“This level of performance has traditionally been reserved for enterprise-class systems costing tens of thousands of dollars more,” said Joe Olmstead, director of marketing communications.
The DVR5100 front panel control includes a joystick, jog and shuttle that are integrated with a color-coded, icon-based interface. A quick export function can write digitally authenticated video to standard DVD writers or USB memory sticks. With up to 1TB of internal storage and Endura Enabled™ software, the DVR5100 operates as a standalone or as part of an Endura system.
