Pelco Appoints Kurt Takahashi CEO
Prior to his new role at Pelco, Takahashi held the position of President at AMAG Technology.
FRESNO, Calif. —Pelco, a global provider of intelligent video solutions, announces it has named Kurt Takahashi Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2019.
Takahashi previously held the position of President of AMAG Technology, a global end-to-end security management platform.
At AMAG, his leadership transformed the company from being an access control focused business into an open, innovative security management solution specializing in access control, video surveillance, visitor management, identity management, incident
and case management, and a fully integrated command and control software suite, according to an announcement.
Prior to AMAG, Takahashi was the vice president of global sales and marketing at Quantum Secure where he led sales, business development and marketing to drive global pipeline and top-line revenue growth.

Pelco began the search for a new CEO at the end of July after announcing Jean-Marc Theolier left the organization. At that time, then COO Brian McClain was named President.
The company was acquired from Schneider Electric by Transom Capital this past May.
