Pelco has entered into an integration partnership with Orsus® to combine the benefits of situation management and video security systems for its customers.
Orsus’ Situator will fully integrate with the enhanced digital video recording capabilities of the Pelco DX8000 and DX8100 DVRs.
“Pelco has been working very closely with Orsus over the past two years to develop reliable, user-friendly and intuitive integrated software applications,” Pelco USA API Business Development Manager Terry Carver tells SSI. “Our mutual customers will be the beneficiaries of this partnership.”
The Orsus-Pelco integration is expected to enable organizations employ an endless number of video surveillance technologies as a single, tightly integrated situational awareness system without adding new hardware.
