Pelco announces it has assumed responsibility for the management of the Integral Technologies product line, a result of the recent acquisition of Pelco by Schneider Electric.
Based in Indianapolis, Integral is a provider of scalable IT security solutions, including the IP-based Intelli-M access control system.
“This is our first step into an industry newly explored by Pelco. Our customers and end-users have wanted us to provide this solution for many years since integration has become a major requirement,” says Robert C. McKee, director of business development at Pelco. “And now with Pelco Intelli-M we can.”
Each Intelli-M PoE (Power over Ethernet) enabled door controller system provides access control and alarm services for a single door. The solution has the potential to save hundreds of dollars in wiring to each door by communicating and being powered with one CAT 5E or 6 cable, according to the company.
“With our unique approach to customers, good products, coupled with over 200 combined years of access control expertise in engineering, sales and marketing, no other company can make an impact to the access control industry like Pelco,” McKee says.
