Pelican Security, Sonitrol of Lexington, Guardian Alarms Score Acquisitions
LONG GROVE, Ill. —Davis Mergers and Acquisitions Group Inc., also known as The Graybeards, helped close acquisitions for three alarm companies in the past week.
Baton Rouge, La.-based The Pelican Security Network purchased Alarm & Security Technologies Inc. in Covington, La.
Though Alarm & Security Technologies President Timothy Joubert will retire, his team will remain on staff for Pelican Security Network.
“Through the affiliation with The Pelican Security Network, we will be able to continue to provide a wider range of capabilities often available only through large, national companies,” says Joubert.
Meanwhile, Sonitrol of Lexington (Ky.) has acquired Safety Services of Independence, Ky. As a result of the acquisition, Safety Services staff will join the Sonitrol of Lexington team in sales and technical capabilities.
Lastly, Guardian Alarms of Southfield, Mich., has purchased the stock of Lansing, Mich.-based TAS Telephone Alarm Systems. The transaction will help Guardian increase its account base. Most of the employees of TAS have joined the Guardian team, and will help build brand awareness.
