Electronic security contractor Select Security, based in
Lancaster, Pa., has acquired Dynamark Security Center of
State College, Pa. The terms of the deal – Select’s second
acquisition in six months – were not disclosed. Dynamark,
like Select, installs and services residential and
commercial security systems, including fire detection,
access control and video surveillance.
In February, Select acquired Alsenco Security of Altoona.
After a transition period, Dynamark and Alsenco will take
on the Select Security name.
“Dynamark brings us an established customer base and has
excellent name recognition in the State College region,”
Select Security President Patrick Egan told the
Lancaster New Age. “We’re excited about the
opportunity to expand our geographic footprint within the
Commonwealth.”
