Bob DeMoss, a sales manager with Tamron USA, passed away from heart failure on March 22. He was 56. DeMoss was the eastern regional sales manager, industrial optics division for the video optics manufacturer.
DeMoss came to Tamron in 2003 after he was the mid-Atlantic regional sales manager for Recognition Source LLC. He initially was the southeastern regional sales manager of Tamron’s Industrial Optics Division before he was promoted in 2004.
Carrie Burnell has been promoted to president of Tracy, Calif., manufacturer On-Site Alarm Screens.
Burnell had been the firm’s Northern California regional manager.
GE’s security business has promoted Jim Clark to vice president of global sales.
Clark, a board member of the Security Industry Association (SIA) and the Open Security Exchange (OSE), was previously GE Security’s vice president of global marketing and has been with GE since 2001.
In the wake of its breaking off from the Bold Group, monitoring software maker Bold Technologies has made several personnel moves, starting with the appointment of Rod Coles as company president.
In addition, Jerry Winslow takes over as executive vice president of sales, Kurt Emanuelson has been named executive vice president of development, while Judy Padera and Marcos Lozano have joined Bold’s sales department after leaving Dice Corp.
David Shaw, a former director at Silent Witness, has been named chairman of the board of directors for Infrared camera manufacturer Cantronic Systems Inc.
