Thomas Finstein has joined Vicon Industries Inc. as its executive vice president for products and operations. He previously held positions at Digital Equipment, Hyperion Solutions and was most recently the CEO of ProAct Technologies.

GE Security, Residential Solutions has promoted Don Natale to vice president of dealer sales, Ted Nesse to vice president of engineering-control panels, Ken Parker to western U.S. regional director and has also named Bill Lew and Gordon Johnson as national account managers.

Elissa Lindsoe has joined Identix Inc. as its new CFO. Lindsoe spent 11 years at network security company Secure Computing Corp. and previously worked with MVE Inc. and Honeywell Int’l.

David Johnson, the former government affairs director for the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), will help establish a Washington, D.C. presence for the National Systems Contractors Association (NCSA) after being named its director of industry/government relations.
