The Peoria (Ariz.) City Council will spend $75,000 on a video surveillance system and access control system throughout City Hall.

The city will spend $63,000 buying and installing cameras, purchasing a badge printer, and correcting the current employee card access system, according to AZCentral.com. Roughly $12,500 will be used for a five-year service contract, which will come from the city’s current fiscal year capital improvement program.

The project is expected to be completed by October.
