Home technology manufacturer Pilot Home Technologies (PHT) has agreed to terms with Ademco to become the latest First Alert Dealer. With 11 branch offices in eight states, and an installation network of nearly 70 technicians, both Ademco and PHT officials believe the relationship will create one of the largest First Alert dealers in the United States.
“This is without question the most important strategic move that we have made since our inception,” says Rick Houghton, vice president and COO of Pilot. Pilot has been in the alarm industry since 1998.
In addition to home security sales and installations, PHT is also a regional service provider for Echostar and Dish Network, performing more than 4,000 monthly installations. With projected annual revenue of $21 million, Pilot is already expanding its call center and customer service department to better serve its existing base.
Pilot plans to open four new offices this year throughout the southeast and Midwest.
