Pinnacle Security Donates $300K in Philanthropic Efforts

Published: January 17, 2011

OREM, Utah — As a result of its philanthropic efforts, Pinnacle Security provided roughly $300,000 in funds, goods and services to those in need in 2010.

During the “Pinnacle: Securing Hope” program, which was initiated in fall 2010, the company served as the first corporate sponsor for Sustain Haiti, a locally based non-governmental organization (NGO). In that role, Pinnacle held a 5K race to benefit the organization. Additionally, the company sent relief teams to a Honduras community and collected more than 40,000 pounds of canned goods for a food drive for the Community Action Food Bank in Utah.

“Our ‘Pinnacle: Securing Hope’ program is a natural extension of our commitment to serving communities across the continent,” said Steve Hafen, COO, Pinnacle Security. “We are pleased with the effort and dedication our employees have shown throughout the year and are already planning the activities and opportunities for continued service in 2011.”

This month, Pinnacle relief teams will travel to Haiti in order to implement plans that were funded by activities in the fall. Pinnacle groups are also planning to take a relief trip to Africa later this year.
