Pinnacle Security’s Latest Community Outreach Helps Feed Utah Families
OREM, Utah — Through its “Security Hope” initiative, home security provider Pinnacle Security staff provided lunch for families in need here.
Pinnacle teamed up with Food & Care Coalition, which provides food, clothing, financial and health services for those in need. During the project, Pinnacle staff volunteers attended a brief training session and then prepared and served meals to Food & Care Coalition patrons.
The coalition’s Executive Director Brent Crane expressed his gratitude for Pinnacle’s efforts. “Our mission to alleviate hunger and diminish poverty depends upon the commitment and charitable acts of individuals and organizations, like that received from Pinnacle Security,” he says. “Pinnacle’s volunteers didn’t just provide a meal; they brought a measure of charity and a message of hope for each patron.”
Since its start in October 2010, “Securing Hope” has been dedicated to the rebuild efforts in Haiti’s Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas, supplied homes and electricity to Honduras residents and worked with clean-up crews following the tornadoes in St. Louis. The company has also donated roughly $300,000 in philanthropic efforts with no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
“The mission of the Securing Hope initiative is parallel to our company mission,” Pinnacle Vice President of Corporate Communications Stuart Dean says. “We want to provide security and peace of mind for our customers. It’s a natural extension of what we do at Pinnacle Security, helping our customers protect the things that matter most.”
