PITTWAY UNVEILS ITS GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN; 3 DIVISIONS NAMED, KEY PERSONNEL APPOINTED

SYOSSET, N.Y.

In a move to set the stage for the next level of growth and development, Pittway Corp., one of the world’s leading manufacturers and distributors of security and fire systems, has announced changes to its organizational structure as well as appointments of key personnel. The company will now consist of three main operating groups: the Fire Systems Group; the Security Group; and the International/Systems Group.

Mark Levy will assume leadership as group executive of Pittway’s Fire Group. He will oversee the operations of Notifier, Fire-Lite Alarms, System Sensor, SCI/Silent Knight and Notifier Europe, as well as group administration. Levy was most recently president of Fire-Lite. Steve Roth has been named group executive of Pittway’s Security Group. Roth will oversee the activities of Ademco, First Alert Professional, AlarmNet, StreetSmart, C&K Systems and ADI, as well as group operations and quality assurance for the Security Group. Roth was most recently president of ADI. Andreas Kramvis has been named group executive of Pittway’s International/Systems Group. Kramvis will oversee all of Pittway’s access control companies, including Northern Computers, WSE and MIC. His responsibilities will also include Ademco’s Government Systems Division, CCTV Systems and Ademco Intl.

Commenting on the new appointments, Roger Fradin, president of Pittway, states, “I am delighted to have Mark, Steve and Andreas join me as partners in the new Pittway senior management team.” Pittway also announces that Ben Cornett has been appointed president of Ademco. Cornett was most recently executive vice president of sales for the company.
