HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Platinum Tools, a manufacturer of solutions for the preparation, installation, hand termination and testing of wire and cable, has named Thomasson Marketing Group (TMG) its new representative for the Western U.S.
Ontario, Calif.-based TMG will handle Platinum Tools’ full line in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska and Hawaii.
“As Platinum Tools continues to grow and add new products and lines to our catalog, we needed a partner with great relationships, great complimentary lines, and a knowledgeable sales and marketing staff to handle our varied and expansive customer base throughout the west,” says Andre Perkic, regional sales manager, Western U.S and Canada. “TMG fits the bill with a long and successful history. We are excited to get started with them.”
Established in 2003, TMG is a sales and marketing firm providing manufacturers representation and consulting services to manufacturers while delivering innovative high quality products and solutions to the low-voltage electronics industry. Along with operating a sales, training and technology center at its headquarters, the company also staffs virtual offices in Seattle, Oakland and Phoenix with outside and inside sales and support staff.

Among other additions to the company’s portfolio, Platinum Tools in 2021 has launched the TPS200C, a pocket-sized PoE++ tester, and added NSi Industries’ complete RHINO Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) line to its product offering.
