WENATCHEE, Wash. — Police here are calling on businesses to review their video surveillance footage to help a continuing effort to find a missing 23-year-old.
So far, businesses’ security cameras have helped give police a timeline of Marcos Sanchez’s whereabouts before he disappeared on Saturday, according to a report by 560 KPQ.
“If people in businesses in south Wenatchee or in East Wenatchee could review their surveillance footage after 12:30 [Saturday morning], if they see a person matching the description, we would definitely like to hear about that,” said Wenatchee Police Captain John Kruse.
Previous collections of video surveillance tracked Sanchez from 11:30 p.m. on Friday until 12:30 a.m. Saturday, last seen crossing Bridge Street. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, brown boots and a flannel dress shirt.
“According to friends and family, this is completely out of character” for Sanchez, Kruse said. “He usually is very good about contacting his girlfriend, about contacting family [and] does so on a regular basis. This is not normal behavior at all.”
